Working With Schools 

We facilitate  music based events in schools, children's centres, community venues and open spaces.
Our strength is to pull together groups of families, children, adults and professionals in all areas of the community in order to create a shared musical experience through dance, drama, singing and playing instruments. 
We create  opportunites for all who work with us  to express their creativity and musicality.  Our participants develop confidence and a sense of who they are, what they can achieve and how their skills and talents can be shared and enjoyed by others.

  • Putting on a play .  All the excitemnet of a west end production in your very own school hall.  Costumes, set , lights, camera, action   High quality drama, dance and singing teaching with music customised for your own needs. 
  • Outstanding curriculum class music teaching for nursery age children to year 6 . A creative approach to making music, responding to live and pre recorded music  as well as developing instrumental skills through whole class steel pan, African percussion, samba, recorder and  tuned percussion
  • Music consultancy for schools wanting to audit their arts provision  with a view to creating an action plan for improvement. Supporting and guiding schools through the application process for the artsmark award. 
  • Providing expert teaching, workshops and organistaion for cultural events such as Carnivals and international Days 
  • Staff training in music customized to suit the needs of your school 
  • Singing assemblys and music/dance demonstrations for the whole school and special events 

Margaret's Music have experienced practitioners who can can help you create that special day in your setting.
We will provide rich musical, dance and art teaching in preparation for a performance or simply to give your children an enjoyable, educational, creative experience that will develop their confidence and inspire them. We work with your own staff to organise a carnival day that every child will remember,  where the whole school community can come together and enjoy a high quality shared experience rich with quality learning.
