Southwark Sings

This unique project is in partnership with Southwark Music Services and funded by Youth Music. We especially want to find families who would not usually be able to fund the privilege of weekly music sessions and also those who may not be familiar with the music opportunities available in the area. We would like to work with a cohort of families who can commit to attend the sessions every week.

A friendly and nurturing singing class for children who will join the piano groups. Children learn to sing the piano repertoire and develop their pitch awareness, pulse and rhythm in readiness to join a piano group after two to four terms.

Individual Music Lessons

Our team of professional instrument teachers can provide expert one-to-one tuition for piano, violin and guitar. All teachers are in tune with the Margaret’s Music philosophy of finding the talent within every individual. Covid measures: we can arrange classes via Zoom while lockdown measures are in place.

In person or via Zoom, depending on current guidelines

Holiday Courses

Our holiday courses are one or two weeks long of fun-filled days of making, creating and collaborating with a strong emphasis on a quality drama, dance and singing experience.

Each holiday course culminates in a fabulous final performance where the learning of the week comes together for an all-singing, all-dancing musical extravaganza.

An exciting drama session where children develop their skills in preparation for Lamda exams and performances. A great place to develop confidence and expression.
